EDImonde and its partners are looking for a journalist specializing in the travel industry to contribute to its publications and help its readers discover the world.

As a journalist, you will produce premium editorial content intended for EDImonde’s various platforms, including its social media. Depending on the assignments entrusted to you, you may also be called upon to take part in press trips, cruises, travel industry events and other on-site activities.

Responsibilities:

• Represent EDImonde with travel industry partners.
• Be available to take part in press trips, cruises and travel events
• Write reports, articles, guides and travel stories.
• Conduct interviews with industry stakeholders.
• Carry out research and ensure the accuracy of published information.
• Take professional-quality photographs.
• Shoot and edit videos.
• Produce content for the website, blog, newsletters and social media.
• Manage EDImonde’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and others).

Skills sought:

• Strong photography skills.

Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite: InDesign and Photoshop.

• Ability to make effective use of the main generative artificial intelligence tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Manus, Copilot, etc.).
• Experience in video shooting and editing.
• Excellent knowledge of social media and digital content creation.
• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), an asset.
• A creative mind, autonomy and a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• An excellent presentation and ease in communicating with partners.
• A valid passport and availability for international travel.

A passport valid for at least six (6) months and proof of travel insurance are mandatory for freelancers.

Candidates must be able to work remotely and, upon request, travel to one of our offices located in Montreal, Ontario, Florida, France or any other region of the world, depending on the needs of our projects.
